One day in the year of the fox
came a time remembered well
When the strong young man
of the rising sun won the tolling
of the big black bell

잊지 못할 날이 찾아 왔어
떠오르는 태양같은
굳센 젊은이가 커다란
검은 종을 울린거야

여우해의 어느날
울리기 시작한 그 종소리는
누군가 왕의 신전으로
가야 한다는 것을 의미했어

그 원의 중앙에서 그는
찾고 또 찾으며 서 있었지
떨리는 그의 손이 한번 닿으면
답을 알게 될거야

늙은 노인이 하늘의 도움을 바라는 동안
그 자리에서 기다렸지
그리고 나서 수천개의 날개가 돌진하듯
그 위로 밝게 빛났고
동이 트기 시작했어

여우해의 어느날
잊지 못할 날이 찾아 왔어
떠오르는 태양같은
굳센 젊은이가 커다란

사람들 가운데 서서
그는 바라보며 느껴 보았어
건장한 오른 팔을 한번 휘두르며
그는 왕의 신전으로 떠났지

세상 가장 자리에서 멀리 떨어진 곳에서
그는 희망을 품고, 그가 무엇을
보게 될 것인지에 대해 들은
이야기를 떠올리며 궁금해 했어

그 원 가운데 그것이 있었지
하늘이여, 도와 주소서
그때 그의 눈에 비친 서광을 보고
사람들은 답을 찾았다는 걸 알 수 있었어

다시 사람들과 원에 들어선 그는
생각에 잠겨 힘없이 서 있었어
그의 건장한 오른손이
한번만 닿으면 사람들은
신전과 왕에 대해 알게 돼
